casing - Drillers report clay to 70 feet where a 5 foot thick boulder was encot pravel with several thick layers of assorted sized boulders. A 30 foot thick bcthick rhyolite boulder at 260.0 feet. Part of this boulder was recovered - it c content generalized with a few grains of pyrite and chalcopyrite. This bouldeirecovered. Twenty eight feet of compact till like material was recovered fron? lreadily and was recovered as a compact enid which dried quickly to a brick like after beinj^soaked in water for a few minutes. The recovered material consistsand siall boulders. The fine fraction is rich in line and effervesces violentlj consists of rock frajr-^rvts ranpirp t.n ? -inches in diameter. The larger frapmenl!pieces. A nun.ber of round boulders are split in half. *bout 5^ of the plus 0.5 a/8 inch thich. About half of these chips are oriented in a flat- posrtion. The; eyes of glassy quartz. Larger boulders consist of pink granite, diorite, rhyol:abundance, ihe material is classed as a tillite. 327.0 - hole abandoned as it was impossible to case through the tillite.
