We will see how modern authors in Latin America and Spain read and write in a global context and discuss questions such as What is important—what is gained and lost—by thinking of such authors as “global”? and How should theories of the global influence Spanish instruction today? We will study the works of Spanish and Latin American authors, as well as the role of translations. Presentations:
