Entry Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in a non-law discipline, or

A bachelor’s degree in law from a non-common

law jurisdiction

Proficiency in English

English Proficiency

If the medium of instruction in bachelor’s degree was

not English, then applicants must have:

o a TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based) or 100 (internet-based); 71

(revised paper-delivered test; sum of reading, Listening and Writing

section scores); or

o a band score of 7.5 or above in IELTS, with no individual score

below 6.5, and a minimum score of 7.0 in the Academic Writing; or

o a total of 520 in mainland China’s College English Test (Band 6)

Three direct contact hours for each course every week

2 hour lecture + 1 hour tutorial, OR 3 hour seminar

Full-time commitment mostly daytime classes

LLB and JD lectures will be given together in most courses
