INTRODUCTION: With an objective to reduce the burden of disease and out of pocket
spending for specialized care for BPL families of Dahod, State Nodal Cell- MA
Yojana, Health & Family Welfare Department Gandhinagar & District Panchayat,
Dahod, organized First Mega health Camp under Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana
on 28th February, 2014 at City Ground, Dahod Open from 9:00 A.M. hrs. To 17.00
P.M.
OBJECTIVES:
The main objective behind this mega health camp was to screen out
BPL patients for tertiary care which eligible under MA Yojana Cluster especially
Cardiac, Renal, Neurological, Cancer, Neuborne Diseases, Burns and Polytrauma.
Beside above all primary objective it also focuses on to develop
public awareness about MA Yojana and its benefits to common BPL people. It also
focused on provide new enrolment of MA beneficiaries at camp side.
FORMATION OF VARIOUS ORGANISING COMMITTEES:
To properly coordinate and smoothly conduct the Mega Health camp,
meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of Collector sir and made the main
organizing committee and various other sub-committees for successful execution of
camp activities.
