Mobile advertising revenue represented approximately 84% of advertising revenue for the second quarter of 2016, up from approximately 76% of advertising revenue in the second quarter of 2015

Our terrific second quarter results, with 21% revenue growth year on year, and 25% on a constant currency basis reflect the successful investments we've made over many years in rapidly expanding areas such as mobile and video.


Amazon Web Services continues to be Amazon's fastest-growing and most profitable business. Its revenue grew another 58% year-over-year to $2.88 billion, while posting $718 million in operating income, which is bigger than the $702 operating income its North America retail business recorded.

Azure revenue grew 140% in constant currency with revenue from Azure premium services growing nearly 3x year-over-year Over one third of the Fortune 500 have chosen our Enterprise Mobility solutions, up nearly 3x year-over-year
