2017 New-To-Bank Citigold and Citi Priority Relationship Reward Program (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions Promotion Period 1. This Promotion is organized by Citibank Berhad (297089-M) (“Citibank” or “Bank”) and is valid from 1st June 2017 to 31st May 2018, both
dates inclusive (“Promotional Period”).
2. This Promotion is governed by the terms and conditions set out below and by participating in this Promotion, the client(s) (“Client(s)”)agree to be bound by them.
Eligibility and Qualifying Criteria
3. This Promotion is open to Participants who are new-to-bank (“NTB”) Citigold clients (“NTB Citigold Clients”) and NTB Citi Priority clients
(“NTB Citi Priority Clients”) only.
4. For the avoidance of doubt, subject to Clause 5 below, NTB Citigold Clients and NTB Citi Priority Clients excludes the following : a. Citibank clients who had previously closed any the following accounts in the past 6 months prior to the date that such client would
like to participate in this Promotion:
i. Local Currency Checking accounts, Local and Foreign Currency Savings accounts, Local and Foreign Currency Time Deposits, Local Currency Islamic Checking and Savings accounts, Local Currency Islamic Time Deposits, Market Linked Investment, Dual Currency Account, Gold Accounts, Unit Trust, Private Retirement Scheme, Retail Bond, Share Margin Financing, Portfolio Power accounts and Overdraft Facility against Time Deposit accounts; and
ii. International Exclusive, Advance CI Care, Flexi Saver, Secure CI Plus, ProLife, Secure Saver, ValuePac , Level Term Plan, EduKidz, Wealth Enhancer, Elite Guard, and any other investment linked insurance policy(/ies) or endowment insurance products that Citibank may identify from time to time; or
b. existing Citibank clients who have any one or more of the products listed in Clause 4(a) above with and/or through Citibank.
5. For clarity, all existing and new mortgage clients who do not have any of the above accounts with Citibank will be considered as NTB Clients.
This includes
Homecredit, Business Power and Mortgage Power clients who do not have any of the above accounts other than the local currency checking account opened solely for the purpose of the respective mortgage loans; and
Flexihome loan clients who do not have any of the above accounts other than local currency current account opened solely for the purpose of the Flexihome loan.
6. Employees of Citibank or any subsidiaries and/or any affiliates of Citigroup Inc.is not entitled to participate in this Promotion.
7. This Promotion is not open to US Person. “United States Person” or “US Person” is described as any of the following:
a. Any citizen or resident of the United States of America including any person with a United States of America domicile;
b. Any person with a United States of America account mailing address; c. Any person holding a United States of America Green Card; d. Any person who meets the “substantial presence test”, that is one who is present in the United States of America for at least 183
calendar days by counting all the days (at least 31) in the current year, 1/3 of the days in the immediately preceding year, and 1/6 of the days in the second preceding year; or
e. Any person defined as a US Person for United States of America Tax purposes. 8. To qualify for this Promotion, the Clients must become a NTB Citigold Client or NTB Citi Priority Client by placing with the Citibank Assets
Under Management (AUM) of at least RM400,000 (for NTB Citigold Clients) or RM100,000 (for NTB Citi Priority Clients) in Fresh Funds. “Fresh Funds” refer to funds that do not originate from any existing account(s) with Citibank (“Fresh Funds”). “AUM” refers to combined balances held in client’s primary relationship accounts including Citi checking and savings account, time deposits, Investments and Insurances. For clarity, time deposits with promotional rates and mortgage loan amount and its mortgage linked current account balance will not be counted towards the AUM for this Promotion. “Investment(s)” or “Investment Products” refers to Unit Trusts, Dual Currency Account, Private Retirement Schemes, Market Linked Investments and Retail Bonds. “Insurance” refers to any single insurance premium product or regular insurance premium products with Citibank.

Rewards Program 9. Eligible Clients who successfully meet the requisite criteria will be entitled to the On-Boarding Bonus and/or Relationship Loyalty Bonus.
10. Clients must open any one of the Max Yield Account, Premium Account or Step Up Checking Account (“Selected CASA”) as a primary
account holder in order to be eligible for the On-Boarding Bonus and/or Relationship Bonus. 11. On Boarding Bonus
(a) Subject to the Terms and Conditions, eligible Clients who signed up for Investment(s), Insurances or mortgage, within the first 6
months of booking (“MOB”) / onboarding will be entitled to an On Boarding Bonus. (b) Subject to the Terms and Conditions, the following are products that can be counted as product holdings. Such product holdings
must meet the respective threshold in order for it to be considered as eligible products (“Eligible Products”) and are entitled for the payout. (i) Investment Products –minimum investment amount is RM50,000 per product and capped at 2 separate Investments Product
only. As an example, if a Client subscribed to 2 unit trusts, this will be considered as 1 product holding whereas if the Client subscribed to 1 unit trust and 1 Retail Bonds, this will be considered as 2 product holdings. The product types include Retail Bond, Unit Trust, Private Retirement Scheme, Dual Currency account and Market Linked Investment products.
(ii) Mortgage- minimum loan amount booked of RM650,000; and
(iii) Insurances – The minimum insurance premium paid to qualify as a product count is RM30,000 in the first 6 months. The insurance premium can be cumulative from multiple insurance policy premium.
The insurances are capped at 2 products only for single premium and regular premium
Single Premium investment-linked plan-One (1) premium investment-linked policy will entitled to one product holding count
Regular Premium -minimum premium paid of RM30,000 within the first 6 months notwithstanding whether the amount consist of monthly or annual paid premium. Insurance premium can be cumulative from multiple insurance policy premium.
As an example: If a client purchased more than 1 single Premium investment –linked plan, this will be considered as one product holding. If a Client purchased 1 single Premium investment –linked plan and one Regular Premium this will be considered as 2 product holdings.
(c) The Selected CASA is a mandatory product and only serves as a base product. For the purpose of calculating the On-Boarding
Bonus, Selected CASA is NOT considered as a product holding count. (d) Subject to the Terms and Conditions herein, maximum number of Product Holdings eligible for payout is capped at 4 products and
the maximum payout for Onboarding-Bonus is capped at RM8,000. (e) The Onboarding Bonus will be calculated based on the average AUM of the MOB1 until MOB 6 and any bonus will be credited into
the client’s selected CASA within 90 days from MOB6.
*Note: the number indicated after the word MOB is referring to the number of month from the date of booking /on boarding. As an illustration, first month of booking /onboarding will be referred to as MOB 1; second month of Booking/onboarding will be referred to as MOB 2.

As an illustration, if a client’s AUM is RM1,000,000 and he/she have 2 product holdings which qualified as a product count i.e. Investment Product of more than RM50,000 and Insurance with minimum premium paid of RM30,000, the amount received will be RM4,000 (RM2,000+RM2,000).
(g) For On-Boarding Bonus, The AUM will be tracked by the Bank based on the Average AUM Month End Balance for the first 6 months. “Average AUM Month End Balance” means the average balance of the last day of the calendar month in client’s primary relationship account which is inclusive of Citi checking and savings account, time deposits with board rate, Investment holdings and Insurances premium paid.
(h) The product holding must be maintained throughout the first 6 months until the On-Boarding Bonus is credited to the Selected CASA.
12. Relationship Loyalty Bonus
(i) The Client shall be entitled to Relationship Loyalty Bonus in column 2 if the Client fulfill the criteria in column 3 below:-

Citigold 500 NTB Customer who maintained average AUM for 12 months > RM600,000
Citi Priority 300 NTB Customer who maintained average AUM for 12 months>RM300,000
(ii) The AUM will be tracked by the Bank based on the Average AUM Month End Balance for 12 months. (iii) Time deposits with promotional rates and Mortgage loan amount and its mortgage linked current account balance will not be
counted towards the AUM for this Promotion. (iv) Client must maintain Citigold or Citi Priority status until the payment of Relationship Loyalty Bonus in order to qualify for Relationship
Loyalty Bonus. (v) The Loyalty Bonus will be credited into the Selected CASA of the eligible Clients within 90 days from MOB12.
13. The On Boarding Bonus and the Relationship Loyalty Bonus above will be credited into the first Selected CASA of the eligible Client which was opened when the Client was on-boarded as a Citigold or Citi Priority member, as the case may be.
14. The Client must maintain the Selected CASA throughout Promotion Period and until the payout period of Relationship Loyalty Bonus
Period (if any). In the event that the Client closes the Selected CASA before the payout period of the On Boarding Bonus and/or the Relationship Loyalty Bonus, the bonus(es) will automatically be forfeited.
15. For clarity, below is the illustration on the On Boarding Bonus and Relationship Loyalty Bonus computation:-
i) Client A takes up 2 Investment products and 1 Insurance product at MOB 4 with average month end AUM of RM800,000. Client
maintains the same balance across 12 MOB from the start date of Citigold relationship. Thus, the client will receive On-Boarding Bonus of RM4,800 and Relationship Loyalty Bonus of RM500. Total bonus received is RM 5,300.
ii) Client B takes up 1 Insurance and 1 Investment Product at MOB 2 with average month end AUM of RM250,000. Client maintains
the same balance across 12 MOB from the start date of Citi Priority. Thus, the client will receive On-Boarding Bonus of RM800 only as client B did not meet the average AUM of RM300,000 under Relationship Loyalty Bonus.
iii) Client C takes up Investment, Insurance and Mortgage at MOB 8 with average month end AUM of RM650,000. Client maintains the
same balance across 12 MOB from the start date of Citigold relationship. Thus, the client will receive only Relationship Loyalty Bonus of RM500.
iv) Client D opens and maintains average saving and/or current account (“CASA”) at RM350,000 throughout the year and take up a
mortgage loan of RM1 mil in MOB11. The average AUM calculation is RM350,000. Citi Priority Client will receive only Relationship Loyalty bonus of RM300.
v) Client E opens and maintains RM100,000 in CASA, placed RM300,000 in Time Deposit, RM200,000 equivalent in FCY placement
and takes up 1 Investment product amounting to RM50,000 at MOB1 and maintain throughout the 12 months. Client total AUM is 650,000. Client will receive RM1,200 as an Onboarding Bonus and RM 500 as Relationship Loyalty Bonus
vi) Client F opens and maintain RM100,000 in CASA, placed RM200,000 in Time Deposit at board rate, RM200,000 with Preferential
Rate, and RM100,000 in Investment Product across 12 MOB. The total average AUM under this promotion is RM400,000 as the RM200,000 Time Deposit with Preferential Rate will be omitted from calculation. Hence, the Client will receive RM800 in On-Boarding Bonus only as Client F did not meet the average AUM of RM600,000 in Relationship Loyalty Bonus.

vii) Client G opens and maintains RM50,000 in CASA and takes up mortgage loan of RM1,000,000. Client does not qualify for On Boarding Bonus and Relationship Loyalty Bonus as mortgage loan is not taken into account for the AUM calculation.
16. The Investment amount used to participate in this Promotion is not eligible to participate in other Wealth Management Product i.e.
Investment Products and insurances (“WMP”) Campaign during the Promotion Period. However, additional investment amount that is not used to participate in this Promotion is eligible for participation in other WMP Campaign. Any participation in such WMP Campaign is subject to the terms and conditions of that campaign.
Miscellaneous 17. Participants can participate in other on-going promotions or campaigns except for Mortgage related promotions, subject to such other on-
going promotions’ or campaigns’ respective terms and conditions. Save as set out in Clause above, Participants cannot use the same funds placed for the purposes of this Promotion to participate in such other on-going promotions or campaigns.
18. Citibank reserves the right to disqualify anyone from participating in this Promotion.
19. This Promotion shall be subject to the regulations, directives and guidelines of Bank Negara Malaysia, and such other relevant regulatory
bodies.
20. Citibank shall not be liable for any default in respect of this Promotion due to any act of God, war, riot, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, storm, epidemic or pandemic, technical or systems failure or any event beyond the reasonable control of Citibank.
21. Citibank’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion is final and binding.
22. Citibank reserves the right at its own discretion to vary or change any of these terms and conditions from time to time or cancel, terminate, withdraw, or suspend this Promotion and/or replace this Promotion with another similar promotion, campaign or program with prior notice. Such variation, changes, cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension will be notified by posting on Cit ibank’s website at www.citibank.com.my (“Website”), or in any other manner as Citibank deems fit. In this respect, the Participant’s participation in this Promotion also signifies his/her agreement to access the Website at regular intervals to view these terms and conditions and to ensure that they are kept up-to-date with any variations or changes which Citibank may effect from time to time. Participants also agree that their continued participation in this Promotion will constitute their acceptance of these terms and conditions (as varied from time to time). For the avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension by Citibank of this Promotion will not entitle the Participant to any compensation against Citibank for any and all loss or damage that may be suffered or incurred by the Participant as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination, withdrawal or suspension.
23. Any term and condition applicable to this Promotion which is illegal, prohibited or unenforceable under any law or regulation shall be
ineffective to the extent of such illegality, voidness, prohibition or unenforceability without invalidating the remaining provisions.
24. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
