Technical Requirements• Windows PC with

• Internet Explorer 6.0 minimum• Firefox 3.0 or higher• Chrome 1.0 or higher

• Mac with • Firefox 3.0 or higher• Safari 3.1 or higher are also supported.

• Macromedia Flash Player 9 or higher is required. • Access to the internet using high speed access (Cable, DSL,

Network) is highly recommended for the overall show and is required for all presentations.

• Pop-up blockers must also be disabled and cookies and JavaScript should be enabled.

• It is recommended to view the show with the display resolution of 1024 x 768. To run the system check, click here. On entering the show, a system check is run which will identify computer requirements that need to be addressed to interact with the online show.

Tool Bar

• Home –Takes you to the Cisco Partner Space main landing page. • Who’s Here – Shows you all the partners who are currently logged into the environment. • Profile – Make it easy for others to learn about you by sharing your area of expertise, and a personal

headshot or photo. • Interact – Chat with others, exchange virtual business cards (vCards), or send an email – making

communication easy and one click away. • Briefcase – Users easily download materials to a virtual briefcase. • Conference Hall – All sessions run as audio and/or video webcasts. Attend an upcoming event and

“chat” openly during the presentations with other session attendees. Or view a replay/video-on-demand at any time.

• Lounge – A networking hub that fosters open chat among all users. Feel free to enter and invite others to visit your booth, see a particular session or download materials.

• Partner Exchange – Network with other partners around the world. Find and be found by the right partner company to collaborate with to close more deals. [Partner Only]

• Partner Community –Provides an environment for Cisco and all partners to participate in discussion forums, wikis, and blogs. [Cisco & Partner Only]

Enter a Tab Title

Select Display Order (1-3) to set which order the New Tabs are displayed. Default is alphabetical order if display order is set to same number.

“Visibility” setting allows you to control access to the customized tabs

Profile – Add a Tab: Content

Once content type is selected (e.g. External Page), click on the Down Arrow button to enter information.

Enter Title and set “Visibility” setting.

Enter content information (e.g. URL) and height setting.

To make any edits to existing content, click on Down Arrow button, put in changes to content and click Save Changes

Double-click on the content type you would like to use

Profile – Edit a Tab, Delete a Tab

To get back to Main controls for New Tab, click on Down Arrow next to New Tab

To delete a customized Tab, click on Down Arrow next to New Tab, click on “Delete This Tab” and the tab is automatically removed

Communicate by: Chat, Email, V-Card using ‘Interact’‘New’ allows you to send your own Email or V-card, or to initiate a live chat (e.g. Start New Chat button will bring up new display with instructions on how to find a user to chat with)“Buddy List” button allows you to add selected user(s) to your personal “Buddy” listUse ‘Search’ to access the names of Cisco Partner Space users, view their profile, or learn more about an individual. Then initiate contact.

For any file, click on the “Briefcase” icon to save documents to your briefcase

From the “Briefcase”, users can view any document that has been saved and then download files to their desktop

Booth StaffingStaff: Visitors see active booth staffers (inactive booth staffers are greyed out)

Visitors can chat by clicking on the avatar of staffer and selecting Start Chat. Video Chat option is available.

If a particular booth staffer is not online, the visitor has the option of sending an email or v-card

Use the Booth Guests tab to view the booth’s current visitors.

Partner Exchange is a trusted collaboration network which enables partners to ‘find and be found’by other partners and Cisco sales personnel. Cisco validated credential data is pre-populated from Cisco’s partner database of record for partner’s Partner Exchange profileEach geographical location is represented per company Coming in May 2009, partner collaboration strategy will be included (managed by company’s Cisco admin)
