Dear Sir,
Re: PMEGP E-TRACKING SYSTEM
As you are aware, PMEGP is an ambitious programme of Govt. of India implemented by
Ministry of MSME throughout the country with KVIC/KVIB and DIC as Nodal/implementing
agencies. Implementation of PMEGP and progress under the scheme is being regularly
reviewed by Hon’ble Minister, MSME Government of India as well as Ministry of finance and
planning commission.
KVIC has informed that the scheme has been continued for 2012-13 and they propose to
provide higher margin money allocation amounting to Rs.9,200/- crs. in the 12th Plan
document being submitted to the Planning Commission.
To bring in transparency and accountability in implementation in the PMEGP scheme, KVIC
has developed online e-tracking system for tracking PMEGP applications. An applicant can
view status of his /her application online at any point of time and the system will also give
details of time taken at each point of activity and also furnish reasons in case of rejection of
application at any stage. The e-tracking system starts from the stage of receipt of
application and ends at final margin money adjustment by banks and includes forwarding of
applications to DLTFC and from DLTFC to Banks, sanction of Banks, disbursements of loans,
release of Margin Money etc.
