4) Age Criteria of Juniors as Specified by the MPBA/BAI: The tournament will be organized in following age groups with specified eligibility criteria for the date of birth:

Sub Junior Under 17 Years 01.01.2001

Sub Junior Under 19 Years 01.01.1999

5) MODE OF COMPETITION:

All the matches shall be played best of 3 games of 21 points on a rally point system approved by BAI/BWF. However if the number of entries are more than expectations, the Referee in consultation with the Organizing Secretary & Secretary (MPBA) or any MPBA official present at the venue may take the decision to conduct the initial round matches till pre quarter final matches in best of 3 games of 15 points each without extension.

6) ENTRIES:

The Entries shall be received by MPBA as per the existing system with a copy to Org. Secretary. You are requested to co-operate with the organizers by sending entries well in time in Ms-Excel format through E-mail only. The entries are to be received through Honorary Secretaries of Affiliate Units/District Only. (Direct entries from the Players are not valid). Entries from Mobile like SMS, Whatsapp are not accepted in whatsoever condition.

As per BAI instructions from last calendar year to maintain State ID’s of players at the every state, So we have already started in current calendar year the process of MPBA players ID. For MPBA players we are following the same procedure as BAI so all are requested to bring essentials documents duly attested during above event. The forms for same has been already sent at all respective district secretary offices and office bearers of MPBA.

After the close of entries, the Tournament Planner will provide the list of participants in order of strength for all events & will be send to all affiliated units/district through E-mail and will be published on internet & it’s the duty of the players to check that his/her entries are in the list or not with their respective units/district authorities. After close of entries, no alternations such as change of partner, additional entries are permitted.

Note: The players must be registered with the respective organization and within the specified age groups as per the MPBA/BAI rulings. It is mandatory for the player to submit his/her age certificate in the Performa prescribed by MPBA/BAI to the MPBA on or before 30 June 2017. Those players having BAI ID must mention their ID number, it is therefore requested to please ensure that each and every player of your organization should comply with this instructions failing which the entry will not be accepted at any cost. Entries stating ………… & partner will not be accepted. Associations forwarding names for Doubles partnering players from other associations should come from both the associations failing which entry will not be considered and entry treated as cancel.

7) ENTRY FEE:

No entry will be accepted without valid birth certificate prescribed by BAI and MPBA, the Entry fee for the above Championship is as follows:

Single events of all categories : Rs.300/- per player Doubles events of all categories: Rs.600/- per pair

The MPBA association shall be responsible for collection of entry fees from the players at venue.

8) REGISTRATION FEE:

All the player have to register themselves every year & for the same they have to deposit Rs.500/- to MPBA.

9) WITHDRAWALS

Any player failing to participate in any MPBA approved championships/tournaments after draw is made, he/she is liable to pay Rs:1000/- (one thousand only) fine to MPBA before participation in next event of state & he/she is not entitled to participate in forthcoming National Ranking until he/she will not paid fine. Referee shall submit the withdrawal list to MPBA within 24 hours after completion of the tournament. The MPBA will send withdrawal list to concerned member associations.

10) EQUIPMENT SPONSOR:

The MPBA is tied up with the YONEX M/s Sunrise India PVT. LTD. Company for the promotion of badminton in M.P. therefore, it is mandatory to use Yonex Shuttles for the tournaments conducted under the aegis of MPBA. MPBA will provide 30 tubes of Yonex Shuttle on FOC basis for the Tournament & rest if required will be provided at subsidized rate of Rs.1103/- per tube. The supply of shuttlecocks on FOC and on subsidized rates is subject to availability of stock with the association. It is the responsibility of the organizing committee to display the banners and posters provided by Yonex at the venue of the championship prominently.

11) OTHER POINTS:

The Organizers shall issue a suitable circular with all the details about the tournament to the Honorary Secretaries of Affiliated Units of MPBA giving the full address of the venue and other details regarding Venue, nearby Hotels with Tariff, Contact numbers and any other facilities to be provided by the host association, route, and distance from Bus Stand, Railway Station & nearby Airport.

12) TECHNICAL OFFICIALS:

The following technical officials are deputed for the said tournament; they should reach Mandla latest by 25 Oct 2017 and report to the organizing secretary positively.

In addition to the Referee nominated above by MPBA, the host Organizers shall nominate one local Deputy Referee so he can act as Umpire Control & Line judge Control cum Announcer. To work on Tournament Software the host Organizers will provide one Laser printer with sufficient A4 size paper & one Net Setter for Internet Connection & other stationary items to be communicated by Referee. All the affiliated organizations are requested to issue suitable instructions to their team manager and coach to bring the players at least half an hour early to their match to the venue of the Championships and co-operate the organizing committee by initiating your players to do the job of Line Judge as and when required by the Referee.

All the Technical Officials & MPBA officials appointed by MPBA for above tournament will be provided with the facilities as specified as per MPBA norms.

11) FACILITY FOR PLAYERS, & TECHNICAL OFFICIALS:

The Organizing Committee will provide following facilities to participants of above tournament.

• Free accommodation to all the participants.

• 2nd Class Concessional Railway Fare to and fro with reservation charges & TA/DA Rs. 200/- per day for the duration of the Championships plus 1 day extra as per rules, to the Winners & Runners up players of the last tournament (i.e. M.P. State Junior Championships 2017, held at Chhindwara) and the players reaching finals of the above tournament.

• Free boarding & lodging, TA/DA and officiating allowance to Hon. Referee & Technical Officials and MPBA officials are as per MPBA norms.

• Necessary Railway Concession letter for outstation players for their journey from place to Mandla and back is being dispatched through courier.
