1. Why should we imitate the good example of others?

Judges 7:17 Then he said to them: “Watch me and do exactly what I do. When I come to the edge of the camp, you should do just as I do.

2. How can we take as a pattern the faithful example of the prophets?

James 5:10, 11 Brothers, take as a pattern of the suffering of evil and the exercising of patience the prophets who spoke in the name of

endurance, 11 the persecutions and sufferings such as I experienced in Antioch, in I·coʹni·um, in Lysʹtra. I endured these persecutions,

and the Lord rescued me from them all.

4. Because it can be dangerous to follow men, how may we imitate the faith of those taking the lead?

Hebrews 13:7 Remember those who are taking the lead among you, who have spoken the word of God to you, and as you contemplate

how their conduct turns out, imitate their faith.

5. How can young ones demonstrate qualities worthy of imitation?

1 Timothy 4:12 Never let anyone look down on your youth. Instead, become an example to the faithful ones in speaking, in conduct,

in love, in faith, in chasteness.

6. How do sisters benefit from imitating “holy women of the past”?

1 Peter. 3:3-6 Do not let your adornment be external—the braiding of hair and the wearing of gold ornaments or fine clothing— 4 but

let it be the secret person of the heart in the incorruptible adornment of the quiet and mild spirit, which is of great value in the eyes of

God. 5 For this is how the holy women of the past who hoped in God used to adorn themselves, subjecting themselves to their husbands,

6 just as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. And you have become her children, provided you continue doing good and do not give

in to fear.

7. Why must we choose our associates wisely?

Hebrews 6:12 so that you may not become sluggish, but be imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
