BOARD MEMBER VACANCIES We are seeking a range of talented individuals who are passionate about circus and physical theatre to join our Board of Trustees in a voluntary position. Circomedia is in a good position. We are enjoying our highest ever numbers of full-time students, and audience and participation levels have been the best since developing our unique venue in the heart of our city. Due to our increased activity levels, from introductory sessions for 4-9 year olds to a world-first MA in Directing Circus, and including professional performances, we are also working hard to develop a new base for the organisation and its teaching that has sufficient room for us to continue to enhance our offer. An ambitious plan to relocate and expand, into a massive warehouse in South Bristol, has just been launched. We are now seeking new trustees to join our Board. We believe that diversity strengthens and enriches us, and that it is the responsibility of everyone at the Circomedia to make the arts and cultural sector a more diverse and equal place. As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) and disabled people are currently under-represented, the board would particularly welcome applications from BAME and disabled applicants. All appointments will be made on merit. In this recruitment, we are particularly seeking trustees who have significant professional experience and networks in one or more of the following sectors: Youth and community Health and Safety Human Resources Fundraising Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre Capital projects Further information about the organisation is at www.circomedia.com .
