Cinematography includes both shooting and development of motion picture photography.

As previously listed, the cinematographer has plenty of responsibilities, it is him/her that must insure all those factors are perfected to the expectations of the director of the product although in some cases the relationship between one another can mean the movie director allows complete independence, or the complete opposite and giving almost no independence to the cinematographer, although such happening is not common once the director and cinematographer have become comfortable with each other.
