    CHANDIGARH ANNUAL REPORT 2013-14

World class Amenities & Habitat !n Chandigarh

  • For financial year 2014-15 the government's projection for growth

is 5.8% per cent. Foreign Exchange Reserves in India increased to

16659.90 INR Billion in January of 2014 from 16573.40 INR Billion

in December of 2013.Foreign institutional investors (FII) inflows

were at Rs 15,000 Cr, the second highest figure in the past 10

years. The agriculture sector grew by 4.8 per cent in the current

fiscal up from 1.9 per cent while the industrial growth pegged at

2.7 per cent as against 2.1 per cent in 2012-13.India's real

economy is relatively insulated from global developments due to its

domestic demand and low exports/GDP. The government has

pegged the country's fiscal deficit at 4.8 per cent of GDP in FY14

and expects it to be achieved through higher mobilisation of

disinvestment proceeds, tax revenues, telecom receipts and
