A.M | 29/05/2019 CIGFARO Annual Conference 2019 | Durban ICC Hall 3 | 7-9 October 2019 CATERING = 1300 PAX Exhibition Floor Plan Requirements: - Risk Categorisation applied for and all the requirements therein must be met. - Safety files for stand builders must be submitted to the Event Safety Officer (well in advance) for approval before build-up so they may be allowed to build on site. - Structural Engineer’s Certication and/or stand Builders Certificate. - COC’s for Electrical, Rigging Certificates, Fire retardant Certificates. - 1x Fire Extinguisher per custom stand. - COA for food, Business Licenses, Liquor license, Gas permits, Pyrotechnics applications. - Corner Guards and Bevelled edges. - Mind your step signs to be displayed on all raised floors. - No obstructions to emergency exits, fire equipment, assembly points and/ or ducting. - Custom stands and/ or Marquees need individual approval, Double Storey stands to comply with the following requirements as well: - Hand rails and anti-skid grips to be fitted on staircases and platforms. - Max weight capacity to be displayed on the platforms and balconies. - Max guests/pax to be displayed at the bottom of staircases and platforms (cannot be more than 25). - Smoke detectors for any enclosed stands.
