CIFP Ferrolterra unique center of Galicia selected Erasmus + Projects

of Strategic Association for good FP practices (July 2017)

Project Erasmus+ 2017-1-ES01-KA202-038313

The CIFP Ferrolterra was the only center in Galicia selected within the

Erasmus + call for Strategic Partnerships for Good Practices in Vocational

Training (KA202) !!!!

We will develop our "Z-Wave digital home" project for two years with our

partners ITIS L. DA VINCI from Italy, Berufskolleg Tecklenburger Land

from Germany and Second Epal Neas Ionias Volou from Greece.

With an approved budget of € 48,360 we will develop modules to build domotic trainers with the latest technology and develop teaching materials

under a Creative Commons license.

This project will involve a deep internationalization of the component

schools, will strengthen the cooperation with our partners, will result in

teaching materials and common methodologies with other European

centers, as well as will improve the linguistic and technological skills of all.

The first transnational meeting of the Erasmus + project of Strategic

Associations of Good Practices of Vocational Training KA202 "Digital

Home Z-Wave" will take place in the CIFP Ferrolterra on February 20 and

21, 2018.

Kick off Meeting in Ferrol (February 20 and 21, 2018.)

It has been a pleasure to meet our coleagues from ITIS Leonardo da Vinci

(Italy), Berufskolleg Tecklenburguer Land (Germany) and Second Epal

Neas Ionias Volou (Greece) under the Erasmus+ Project KA2 for good

practices we got. We have come a long way during these two days of work

and we have also had fun together. It has been great!

INTERNATIONAL LOGO DESIGN CONTEST !!!! (March 2018)

Design contest for a logo designed to be the representative image of the "Z-

Wave Digital Home project" !!!

The main objective of this project is to build a home automation coach or

model.

Proposals will be received from April 1 to April 30, 2018! The prize is € 300.

The proposed designs for the contest should be sent by email to

Winner of the Logo Contest - Contest Winner Logo. Project Erasmus +

Z-Wave Digital Home (May 2018)

During the second transnational meeting of the Erasmus + project: Z-Wave

Digital Home, which took place at ITIS Leonardo da Vinci, Parma, Italy, on

May 7 and 8, 2018, a logo was chosen to be used as a brand or image of the

project. The logo chosen belongs to Marta Pérez from Lugo - Spain and

was chosen among the 26 proposals received correctly according to the

rules of the contest. The second most voted logo belongs to Paula Andrea

Santucho from Argentina and the third place went to Julio Santiso from

Spain.

We thank all the participants for the sent designs and for the great quality of

them. You are amazing designers!!

I ZWave technological Training Conference (June 2018)

The company Domotica Davinci, ZWave Spain, will give a training

session at the CIFP Ferrolterra to the participants of the Erasmus + project

of good practices 2017-1-ES01-KA202- 038313 that we are developing.

It will consist of some notions of ZWave technology and configuration of

the devices that we bought for the ZWave Digital Home project.

We invite all teachers of any centre and companies interested in this

technology who want to attend the day (it's free).

II Training session by Domotica DaVinci for all our partners

(September 2018)

On 28th september 2018, we have attended a II Training session with all

the partners participating in our project Z WAVE DIGITAL HOME

PROJECT (ERASMUS PROJECT 2017-1-ES01-KA202-038313). The

session was made by videoconference using Hangouts.

The session was given by Jose Miguel Rubio Vargas of Domótica DaVinci

who gives us technical assistance to the project. The session has been

perfect! Thanks to all the participants and the magnificent speaker. It was a

brilliant speach!

It has been incredible to see how José Miguel, who was in Asturias,

acted/configured on our model in Ferrol and at the same time it was

amazing seeing all our partners and being able to chat and raise technical

questions among all of us.

SPAIN: We have got the panels!!! (October 2018)

The wood department of the CIFP Ferrolterra is working on the

construction of the panels that will support the home automation prototype

of the CIFP Ferrolterra. The panels are beautiful and super practical as they

allow the trainer to expose and also work horizontally with the students.

Things are going onwards and upwards! The models for the window and

door are almost finished:

Soon there will be other sensors, such as wind, and the electric distribution

panel will be conected.

The panels are also evolving. They are more polished, and more modules

have scheduled their own project with their own gaant and management.
