We are the innovative arm of the power sector. We are focused on using science and technology to increase the competitiveness of our clients, transform the sector and generating new horizons of a better future

We are creative. We believe that from ideas and applied research the sector will achieve the changes needed for the development of a sustainable Colombia

As a not-for-profit institution, CIDET defined itself as the engine of a large innovation ecosystem, then, CIDET brings together industry, government and academia and gets cooperation for the development of relevant and high impact projects in three areas: Electricity & Life, Efficient Production, and Turning Ideas into Business
