School Planning Council Update Thank you to our parent planning council members who assisted with our recent report and meeting with the school district. These dedicated parents are: Anita Jo- hal, Audrey Henderson, and Erin Hicks. Our goals for next year is: To develop student's ability to utilize critical thinking competencies. Please note that a detailed overview of school goals, their ra- tionale and the current student performance data upon which they are based can be found in the 2014 School Planning Council Document. This document is available to view at the school of- fice and on-line through the SD #23 website. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. McKay or Mrs. Willms. Farewell: This spring we’ll be saying farewell to the following CLE team members: Mrs. Joan Dougherty, Mrs. Dougherty has been at Chute Lake since we first opened and during this time has been one of our most beloved teachers. She has brought an energy, passion and wisdom to her role as a Kindergarten teacher that has been valued by every parent, student and colleague whom she has connected with. On behalf of the entire CLE community we wish you all the very best as you leave us to start your next adventure. You have left your mark on us and on our school and we thank you for the very positive difference you have made. Ms. Kim Buchanan: Ms. Buchanan has only been with us one year yet in this time she has made a positive impact on all of us through her creative ide- as, energy, willingness to get involved and her passion for learn- ing. She is moving on to Shannon Lake Elementary where she can be closer to home. We thank her for being part of the CLE fami- ly and wish her every success in her new job. Mr. Ryan Taylor Mr. Taylor was here this past year on a temporary basis. He has add- ed a very positive 'Middle School' influence to our grade 6 and 7 students and we have appreciated his positive work with students as well as his commitment to school initiatives. We wish him all the best as he moves into a new position this coming September. Mrs. Laura Daminato Mrs. Daminato has been here on a temporary basis this past year. We thank you for your hard work as a part of our CMOS team and wish you all the best in your assignment next year. Mrs. Peggy Williams Mrs. Williams has been a CEA at CLE since we opened. We have greatly appreciated the hard work and positive approach she has brought to the varied assignments she's taken on over the past 5 years. She is moving on to an assignment at SVE which will allow her to be much closer to home. We wish you well in your new assignment. Mrs. Nancy Murray Mrs. Murray has also been at CLE since we opened. She has connect- ed with many students through her role and made a positive differ- ence in their lives. We have appreciated your flexibility and hard work. All the best in your new role at Bankhead. You will be missed! Mrs. Jen Hanson Mrs. Hanson has worked in a variety of CEA assignments during her 3 years at CLE. We thank her for her hard work and support of teachers and students. All the best in your new role at OKM next September. Mrs. Roxanne Brady Mrs. Brady has worked at CLE for the past 3 years. We thank her for her hard work supporting students and wish her success in her new role at DWE next fall.
