CHURCH-TO-CHURCH
ADVENTURES IN MISSIONSONE OF THOUSANDS | WORLD RACE THE HOPE OF A FUTURE | PASSPORT
WORLDRACE.ORG@THEWORLDRACE
A young mother asked a stranger to hold an infant momentarily while she went to the market, but she never returned. Raising
ive children alone was a burden the mother simply could not bear any longer. The stranger brought
the recently orphaned baby to a local hospital in the Tanzanian desert.
As the child grows up, he won't know his exact age, where he came from, or what he was named. He is just one of thousands of infants
orphaned every day in Africa. These are the places and people World Race partici-pants reach with the hope of Christ: the nameless, abandoned and unloved.

Adventures in Missions is an interdenominational missions organization that focuses on discipleship. We emphasize prayer and relationships in our work among the poor.
Since we were established in 1989, we have taken over 90,000 people into the mission ield, some for as short as a week and others for as long as a year. In several
places around the world, we offer year-round ministry to “the least of these.” We believe that by giving people the opportunity to hold orphans, bring hope to the hopeless, and pray for the sick, lives are transformed.
Our desire is that God would use us to raise up a generation of radically committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
Lee was sold into slavery at the age of eight. The following eight years were spent in torment and fear and she serviced a different man every night. She endured unthinkable abuse and been exploited in every possible way. But then a minis-try in Bangkok rescued her and gave her a home at a shelter for abused children. There, she met a team of Passporters. They sang to her and told her about their friend named Jesus. Lee saw some-thing in the eyes of those missionaries that she had never seen before: hope. Since then, life has slowly become bearable again for Lee. And more than that, she has begun to dream about the future.

11God plants dreams in human hearts. Then He cultivates them, until they reach full maturity. Perhaps you have a dream. Something is growing deep inside of you. We help you discover and clarify God’s dream for you, and give you steps you can take to see it flourish.

08Is your church looking for a unique mission opportunity? Church-to-Church offers American churches the opportunity to spiritually and physically support a sister church in another country (examples: Haiti, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Peru, Nicaragua, Cuba, etc.). These partnerships are also offered domestically in disaster relief areas like New Orleans and through our Native American ministries on Indian reservations throughout the United States.
