700 CANS OF TUNA is what Greenville Free Methodist Church is asked to collect for the Bond County Food Baskets to be distributed in December. Tuna can be placed in the tubs near the Welcome Centers through November.
The "Back to Ninevah" Project continues to receive contributions in support of Ken and Linda. Make checks payable to "GFMC" with "Back to Nineveh" on the memo line. The communion offering for November will also be applied to this project. Plan now to give generously.

Approximately eight members from GFMC, along with an additional four members from other Gateway Conference churches, will (tentatively) leave from St. Louis on June 2, 2012 and arrive in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on June 3, and will return on June 17. This group will be led by Brent Shaw and any questions or interest should be directed to him personally or by phone at618-292-8181. Interested men should be physically able to work full days in tough conditions and preferably have above average construction skills.

Marriage Encounter (November 11-13) is a bargain this year! Come even if you are not able to contribute any more than the $100 deposit. This is a weekend away from the computer−telephone−laundry−dishes−work. Take time for your marriage! You'll be glad you did. See brochures on poster near the kitchen for more details.

3D-ians (Young Adults): This Saturday, November 5, we have an opportunity to serve a family in the Pocahontas community. We will take a group to help work on the Habitat for Humanity house thatis being built in Pocahontas. The work will be indoors. We will leave the GFMC parking lot by theCE/Youth Annex at 8:30 a.m. We will carpool to the house location, work there until noon, and then return to Greenville. You don’t have to bring anything except a willingness to help, and you don’t need any carpentry experience. However, do wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, paint-y, etc. This is a great way for us as the 18-30somethings to continue to serve our community. What a great way to spend a Saturday morning! If you’re interested, please email [email protected], so we know how many plan to help. Hope to see you Saturday!
