MARRIAGES: Arrangements must be made by calling the Parish Office (732) 721-0040, or emailing [email protected]; at least one year in advance. Absolutely no social plans are to be made before meeting with parish Priest or Deacon. Also, please note there are no Nuptial Masses celebrated on Sundays.
BAPTISMS: Baptisms will be held on the 2nd & 4th Sunday at 1:30PM with the exception of Holy Days. Pre-Baptism class, will be at 3:00 pm every 2nd Saturday of the month in Church.
RITE of Christian Initiation for ADULTS (RCIA): The RCIA is the process the Church uses to form and inform those who want to “inquire” about the Catholic faith. This process is for those who have never been baptized, baptized adults needing Confirmation and Holy Eucharist, and those of other faiths who feel called to become Catholic. Is God calling you? PASTORAL CARE OF THE SICK: Call 732-721-0040 Arrangements for communion calls to the sick can be made by calling the Parish Office. Please notify the Parish Office when a parishioner is in the hospital. Emergency calls are made at any time.
PARISH REGISTRATION: All parishioners should be registered. Parishioners over the age of 18 should register independently of their parents. It is necessary to be a registered parishioner for at least 3 months in order for us to provide testimonial letters. Kindly notify the Parish Office of any changes, (732) 721-0040. Thank you.

Uroczystość Najświętszego Ciała i Krwi Pańskiej 29 Maj, 2016 Pamiątkę ustanowienia Najświętszego Sakramentu obchodzi Kościół właściwie w Wielki Czwartek. Jednak wówczas Chrystus rozpoczyna swoją mękę. Dlatego od XIII wieku Kościół obchodzi osobne święto Bożego Ciała, aby za ten dar niezwykły Chrystusowi w odpowiednio uroczysty sposób podziękować. Inicjatorką ustanowienia tego święta była św. Julianna z Cornillon (1193-1258). Kiedy była przeoryszą klasztoru augustianek w Mont Cornillon w pobliżu Liege, w roku 1245 została zaszczycona objawieniami, w których Chrystus żądał ustanowienia osobnego święta ku czci Najświętszej Eucharystii. Pan Jezus wyznaczył sobie nawet dzień uroczystości Bożego Ciała - czwartek po niedzieli Świętej Trójcy. Biskup Liege, Robert, po naradzie ze swoją kapitułą i po pilnym zbadaniu objawień, postanowił wypełnić życzenie Pana Jezusa. W roku 1246 odbyła się pierwsza procesja eucharystyczna. Po raz pierwszy z procesją Bożego Ciała na terenie Polski spotykamy się już w XIV wieku w Płocku i we Wrocławiu. Od wieku XVI wprowadzono z Niemiec zwyczaj śpiewania czterech Ewangelii przy czterech ołtarzach. Istnieje on do dnia dzisiejszego. Od dawna wprowadzono zwyczaj, istniejący po dzień dzisiejszy, że lud przynosi do kościoła wianki ziół. Tam zostawia je przez całą oktawę. W oktawie kapłan je poświęca, po czym lud zabiera je do domu. Zawiesza je na ścianie, by chroniły od choroby lub poszczególne gałązki umieszcza na polach, by lepiej rosły plony i by Bóg zachował je od robactwa i nieurodzaju. W niektórych stronach drzewka i gałęzie, którymi był przystrojony kościół i ołtarze, po oktawie zabierano na pola i tam je zatykano.
