NEW COVID GUIDELINES: Masks are no longer required for individuals who have been fully vaccinated. If you are not fully vaccinated, please continue to wear a mask during Mass and inside our building. We will no longer require registrations or check-ins before Mass
attendance. The 11:30AM Mass will require masks for all attendees, even those who are fully vaccinated. Social distancing is no longer required during Mass or in meeting spaces.

FOOD MINISTRY: The easiest way to support our food ministry is by donating material goods; we accept all food items in the yellow bin in the Narthex (along with plastic and paper grocery bags and
egg cartons). The item of the week is an easy way to add something small to your grocery list, and donate something very needed by our ministry. This week, the item of the week is size 2 diapers. We also need volunteers to help with picking up donations from Trader Joe’s and Chandler’s Bakery, shopping or picking up purchases from the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, setup for distribution, and distribution on Sunday. dusk, you can ensure that the water doesn’t immediately evaporate.

JUSTICE CORNER: Doing just ice requires faith in a God who can do the impossible. All our meetings as a justice ministry are based in prayer and discernment, as well as action. In 2014, despite a nation wide shortage of child psychiatrists, we stood up for the young
people in our community, and got a commitment from Region Ten to staff 40 hours per week of child psychiatry, more than double what they had been doing!

NURSERY REOPENING: Our Nursery is reopening on June 27! It is available for children 1 to 4 years of age on Sundays from 8:45AM-2:45PM. (Care between mass must be reserved prior to date of need). Summer schedule for June-August will be every other

PACEM 2021: Historically, area churches have provided safe and comfortable shelter during the winter months through PACEM. But with the development of the Premier Circle
project at the old Red Carpet Inn, supporting the homeless will be a lot different this year. The Premier Circle project is working to renovate 115 former motel rooms to create a non-congregate shelter that is fully staffed 24/7/365 by PACEM. They will also supply a case management piece to help the homeless move on/graduate into permanent housing. Overall, this is part of a multi-year program to create supportive housing for many people in need. There are some immediate ways that our church could help to support initial efforts.
