SUPPORT FOR THE HEARTS ON THE MEND: GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP AT HOLY FAMILY We all have experienced losses in our life. The normal and natural reaction to any significant emotional loss is grief. And grief hurts! We need support and help to get through these times. Grief Support Groups help us cope with the loss of a loved one by being with people who share similar experiences. They also journey with us in rebuilding our lives and provide us with a safe environment and the accurate information about grief and grief recovery.

The support group will meet for eight weeks on Thursdays, beginning September 29 at 7:00 p.m. in the Fausto Conference Room. Whether your grief is new and raw or lingering and unresolved, these sessions will help you

to heal and move toward peace and acceptance of the absence of the loved one in your life. If you are someone who has lost a dear one to death; we welcome you to join for these sessions.

For more information, please call Deacon Joe at the parish office, 856-228-1616, or email: [email protected]

“Everything I have is yours.” LUKE 15:31b Our Heavenly Father gives His Stewards everything, including the chance to share in His eternal kingdom. Yet, like the Prodigal Son we are often lured away by the materialism of our society. Do we really want to turn our backs on all that God offers in exchange for a material wealth that has no lasting value?

    Received Budgeted Difference August 14, 2016 $12,529 $16,250 -$3,721 FY 2016 to date $91,202 $113,750 -$22,368

Make a Joyful Noise To The Lord!!

Adult Choir Men, women and young adults. Please consider joining the Adult Choir. We are in need of voices!!! We rehearse Thursday evenings in the church at 7:00.

We pray, we laugh, we sing!

Please contact Jeanne Passanante - [email protected] or call the parish office.

We are presently attempting to update our parish database to confirm accuracy of the information that we have on hand. With this in mind, letters will be sent out to all registered members of the parish. You will be asked to review, correct and update information listed on the registration forms and then return them to the parish office by September 30. Whether you noted any changes/additions or not, all forms must be returned in order to remain registered parishioners.

This process is necessary as our parish is assessed by the diocese by the number of parishioners we have registered. Many who had registered in the past may no longer attend here or have adult children who have moved from the home, married or relocated to another area.

Additionally, the Camden Diocese does not permit registration at more than one parish so your cooperation in this endeavor will be most appreciated and helpful in obtaining a truer vision of the number of registered parishioners.

    Database Update News

JOY JOY JOY! On Sunday, September 4, Angeline and Joseph Vitello observed the 75th anniversary of their wedding day. Best wishes are extended to Angeline and Joseph from their parish family.

If you would like to share a memorable occasion, milestone birthday or anniversary with your parish family, e-mail info to [email protected] or call Joanne at the parish office at least two weeks in advance of your celebration date.

Catholic Men’s Fellowship (CMF) offers the opportunity for men of the parish to share their faith and love for Christ as Catholic Christian men through prayer and fellowship. We will gather in Christ’s presence to share our experiences, strengths, and hopes. We will prayerfully support one another in an atmosphere of trust and openness. We will reflect on Scripture readings and other holy meditations for our monthly discussions. We do this in the hope of fostering discussions within the group pertaining to those readings and to real world situations in which we find ourselves. “The Holy Spirit moves among us.” Our first meeting will be on Thursday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m. – at the parish office.
