We are honored to have the retired Archbishop Henry J. Mansell as the officiant for Confirmation. The date is Saturday, March 4, 2017.

The rectory and religious education office will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2017 in observance of President’s Day. The rectory and religious education office will resume regular office hours on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. In the event of an emergency, please

call the rectory and indicate to the answering service the nature of your matter.

Father Gene will be contacted by the answering service and return your call as soon as possible. It is not an emergency or urgent. Kindly leave your message clearly with the service. Father Gene, Father Francois or Denise will then return your call when office hours resume.

On Ash Wednesday, March 1, 2017 Masses will be held at 9:00AM at the Mother Church and Noon at Center Road Church. Ashes will be imposed after Mass.

Liturgy of the Word will be held at 5:00pm & 7:00PM at the Center Road Church with the imposition of ashes.

On Sunday, March 5 the 8:00am Mass will be celebrated at the Center Road Church. The weekend begins the “active phase” of the 2017 Archbishop’s Annual Appeal. A video featuring a homily by Archbishop Blair will be viewed. Please support the Appeal with a sacrificial monetary gift.

The expectant parents who wish to have their child baptized are asked to call the rectory at 387-7119 to prepare properly for this joyous celebration. Attendance at the pre-baptismal program conducted by the parish staff is required. The Archdiocese of Hartford mandates this program prior to baptism. Baptisms are held on the first and third Sundays of each month. Please call Denise at the rectory to register.

Saturdays 9:00AM at the Center Road Church. The opportunity for “confession/reconciliation” should be a primary objective of every follower of JESUS. All are urged to celebrate this sacrament.

Confirmation 2017 Community Project

Confirmation Class of 2017 is supporting" Linens of Love" a non profit agency supplying linens and toiletries to area shelters and those transitioning to their own place. Sheets, comforters, laundry supplies, and toiletries are welcome. There is a metal laundry basket at the back of the church.

There may be occasion when the rectory and religious education offices are closed due to inclement weather. On these “questionable”

days, you may wish to “call ahead” prior to leaving your home to verify the office is open.
