Biblically Receive It

• One of the most often misunderstood aspects of love: our love for God– How would most people answer,

“Do you love God?”– How would most people answer,

“What is loving God?”

Page 11: CHURCH OF CHRIST at

Biblically Receive It

• I John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous– Why?– Agape is sacrificing oneself to

please another (Ephesians 5:25)

Biblically Receive It

• Jude 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God…– Romans 8:35, 38-39 Who shall separate

us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord
