My original picture:I shot it on a black background in a dark room. I used a lamp to shine a light on my subject’s face to create a shine on her face and juxtapose it by angling it to create shadows

My edited picture:I used Photoshop to apply a black and white filter. I also adjusted the exposure to bring out the lighter part of my subject’s face and then offset it to keep the shadows strong
