A charming hotel withelegant decorationIn 2009, Louis Albert and Françoise deBroglie decided to embark upon a majorrenovation of the castle. Lounge and dining room walls are coveredwith green tissue signed by Braquenié (PierreFrey). A cabinet of curiosities was installed inthe library of which the furniture is brandedthe ‘Gardener Prince’. Antique Chinesefurniture pieces have their place in the mainentrance hall. The kitchen has beencompletely equipped and Gardener PrinceChelsea lime green furniture, hastransformed the atmosphere in thebreakfast area.In the evening, the fireplace in the loungeinvites you to a break near the fire.

Since 2011, all rooms have been redeco-rated and refurbished.New upholstery, new furniture, new design:each spacious and elegant room tells itsown story. In the chateau or in theoutbuildings, all rooms have views of thegrounds and its remarkable species of trees.In the chateau, each room is different andbears the name of a famous person whohas a connection with the history of thisplace.

century citadel by the beautiful MarieGaudin, the Château de la Bourdaisièrehas been known throughout the history ofFrance for hosting royal lovers. It receivedthose of Henri IV and Gabrielle d'Estrée andamong its owners Marquis de Crevecœur,the Duc de Choiseul, the Duchess ofOrleans, the Barons Angelier ...Located in the village of Montlouis-sur-Loirebetween the Loire and the Cher, the chateauis at the heart of an area classified by theUNESCO World Heritage of Humanity. Sleeping at the Château de la Bourdaisièreis also living in the middle of a naturereserve, in unique grounds and gardens inthe world. After breakfast, served before the"Italian Gateway" attributed to Leonardo daVinci, one can take a walk and discoverthe 800 varieties of tomatoes, of mint andbasil collections of the kitchen garden-Conservatory, the extraordinary colours 210varieties of dahlias in the contemporarygarden designed by Louis Benech, the 76new fruit trees orchard or the majesticredwoods and Monterey cypress trees inthe grounds. There is also an apiary sincespring 2018.

Cooking classes in thegarden, with family orfriendsFor one day or over a long week end, thechâteau de la Bourdaisière offers cookingclasses. Each session begins with thegathering of fruit and vegetables in thegarden, and when the weather permits,meals are prepared and tasted in the Salonde thé. A unique opportunity to learn to livewith nature preparing simple recipesdeveloped with local produce when inseason.
