CEIP POETAS ANDALUCES

Christmas is a very popular holiday in our region (Andalusia), which we all celebrate regardless of our religious creeds.

Starting in November, our streets and squares fill up with decorative motifs that remind us that Christmas is getting closer: lights, nativity scenes, ornaments… This goes on up until January 6th, which marks the end of Christmas for us. On this day, children wake up to find the gifts the Three Wise Men have brought them overnight.

During the holiday season, people set up traditional nativity scenes in their homes. Some also set up Christmas trees and decorate them with ornaments such as lights and stars.
