Christmas Customs in CanadaChristmas in Canada is an experience every visitor will remember. All homes are decorated for the holidays, lights are displayed and the season is jolly. Trees are with ornaments and neighbors gather around singing Christmas Carols. The winter is cold but the love from friends and family warms up the atmosphere .The kids are playing in the snow, making snowmen to place in front of their homes. Christmas is so much fun… All families put up their trees and make sure that all stockings are put over the fire place.There are so many traditions combined such as first and foremost we celebrate the birth of baby Jesus.There is Santa Clause and his reindeerThere are Christmas TreesThere are Christmas stockingThere are mistletoesThere is Holy, Ivy and GreeneryThere are poinsettiasThere are candy canesThere are Christmas cardsThere is the exchanging of giftsAnd there is also the Christmas dinner.Combined all together is what makes Christmas in Canada…

Christmas Customs in Canada Christmas in Canada is Life!!!!

It is one of the most festive holidays of the year…Most decorate the Christmas trees and others use real and some choose fake. Most homes are decorated and during the holiday period there are many gatherings and parties. On the day of all people have a day off work and spend time with their families and loved ones. Some of the activities include exchanging Christmas presents and then joining in a Christmas dinners while listening to Christmas music. People travel many distances to rejoin with family on this special day. Most homes are open to friends. Christmas during the recent years has become a day for children who if are well behaved will receive gifts from Santa clause who will come down the chimney. Some children write letters to Santa a few weeks before Christmas Day, asking for a gift they would like.  Many churches have a Christmas mass, and most include choirs, joyous singing.

Christmas in Canada is simply beautiful !!!!
