From the Tossed Elves - Green (A), cut:• (1) 14 ½” square.
From the Tonal Tree - Red (B), cut:• (2) 1 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (1) 1 ½” x 22 ½” strip and (1) 1 ½” x 14 ½” strip from each strip.• (2) 1 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (1) 1 ½” x 20½” strip and (1) 1 ½” x 16 ½” strip from each strip.
From the Tossed Elves - Red (C), cut:• (1) 4 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (4) 4 ½” squares.• (1) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (5) 2 ½” squares. From the Words Print - Cream (D), cut:• (1) 2 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (7) 2 ½” squares.
From the Words Print - Green (E), cut:• (1) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (5) 2 ½” squares.
From the Presents - Black (F), cut:• (1) 2 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut (7) 2 ½” squares.
From the Border Stripe - Black (G), fussy cut:• (4) 4 ½” x 22 ½” Length of Fabric (LOF) strips centered on elves.• (7) 2 ½” squares centered on white presents.
From the Tonal Tree - Green (H), cut:• (2) 1 ½” x 32 ½” strips.• (2) 1 ½” x 30 ½” strips.• (4) 2 ½” x WOF strips for binding.
From Starry Basic - Black (I), cut:• (1) 2 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut (5) 2 ½” squares.
From Tonal Tree - Cream (Backing), cut:• (2) 40” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 40” x 40” back.
Note: The arrows found on Fabric G in Figures 2-5 and the Quilt Layout denote the fabric print direction. Pay attention to the fabric direction when constructing the components and quilt top.

Block Assembly1. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 14 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the 14 ½” Fabric A square. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 16 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Fabric A square to make the Center Block (Fig. 1).
2. Follow Figure 2 and sew together (8) assorted 2 ½” squares to make the Left Side Border.
3. Follow Figure 3 and sew together (8) assorted 2 ½” squares to make the Right Side Border.

Quilt Top Assembly(Follow the Quilt Layout while assembling the quilt top.)6. Sew the Left, Right, Top and Bottom Borders to the Center Block.
4. Follow Figure 4 and sew together (10) assorted 2 ½” squares to make the Top Border.
5. Follow Figure 5 and sew together (10) assorted 2 ½” squares to make the Bottom Border.
7. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 20 ½” Fabric B strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 22 ½” Fabric B strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.
8. Sew (1) 4 ½” x 22 ½” Fabric G strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 4 ½” Fabric C square to each end of (1) 4 ½” x 22 ½” Fabric G strip. Repeat to make a second strip. Sew the strips to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block.
9. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 30 ½” Fabric H strip to each side of the Center Block. Sew (1) 1 ½” x 32 ½” Fabric H strip to the top and to the bottom of the Center Block to make the quilt top.
10. Layer and quilt as desired.
11. Sew the (4) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric H strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.
12. Bind as desired.
