COMMUNITY EVENTSCITY CHRISTMAS TREE1 – 31 DecemberStation Place, WerribeeWerribee City Centre’s Christmas Tree will be at the heart of community celebrations this festive season. Enjoy a relaxed picnic with friends and family beneath the branches, or visit after dark to enjoy the lights.

WERRIBEE LIGHTS UP FOR CHRISTMASFriday 1 December 6pm – 9pmStation Place, WerribeeKick off your Christmas countdown with the lighting of the tree at dusk, with free family fun including face painting, outdoor games, photo booth and sausage sizzle. Plus, see the unveiling of RED | redux – a surprising and playful collection of temporary public art installations popping up as part of the festive season. Come down early from 4pm to take part in the free, wearable art workshop!

MEET SANTA Every Saturday, 2 – 23 December, 11am – 2pmStation Place, WerribeeDrop in for a Christmas craft workshop and meet the jolly man in red! Santa and his helpers will be making a special visit, so that you can deliver your wish list in person. Share the moment with friends and family with a free professional photo, or take your own happy snaps.

COMMUNITY EVENTSCHRISTMAS IN COLOUR1 – 31 DecemberWedge St Piazza, WerribeePrimary school students from Baden Powell College, St. Andrew’s Catholic Primary School, Thomas Chirnside Primary School, Truganina South Primary School and Westgrove Primary School bring Christmas cheer to Weribee City Centre, with a display of hand-painted, wooden Christmas trees.

SANTA MAILMonday – Saturday until 15 December Werribee Library, WerribeeWant to send a letter to Santa? Australia Post works with Santa and his elves at Christmas to make sure you receive a reply to your letter. You can drop off your letter in the special post box in Werribee Library. Make sure you attach a 65c stamp, address your letter to:

Wyndham City and local artist collective RedWest have teamed up to present a program of playful installations, interactive artworks and pop up performances by local artists during the month of December – all inspired by the colour red. www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/red #REDredux
