WELCOME!

This morning Pastor Dave will preach the message Sanctuary from Exodus 25:8. May we become increasingly aware of the Lord’s presence in our midst.

Welcome! If you are a guest with us, please come to The Gathering Place near the Resource Center after the worship service. We would love to meet you and help you get connected.

Summer Sundays – Throughout the summer, MVPC will have one worship service, 9:30-10:40am. All incoming 1st through 5th graders will stop by the elementary check-in table outside the Sanctuary prior to joining their parents for worship. Children will be dismissed from the service to attend the elementary Sunday school program.

Summer Choir – All voices are welcome to sing with the Summer Choir! We’ll meet in the choir room at 8am on July 14th and August 11th to rehearse the anthem we’ll sing that day. For more information, contact Colleen Henry ([email protected]) or Mike Loretto ([email protected]).

MVPC Devo 2013 – The devotional prepared by the MVPC family in honor of Pastor Tom and the Dabasinskas family is now available in the Resource Center. Suggested donation: $5/copy. Pick one up for yourselves and your friends and loved ones; proceeds will benefit MVPC’s local and global mission partners. You will be blessed!

Preparation in Prayer – As we prepare for Pastor Rob to arrive this summer let’s pray through Ephesians. In chapters 1-3 our prayers will focus on who our Heavenly Father is, who we are in Jesus Christ, and on praying Paul’s prayers as promises that the Holy Spirit longs to live out through us. Let’s pray with hope and delight in seeing how God continues to transform us into disciples who walk worthy of our calling in obedience to chapters 4-6. Consider arriving early on Sundays to pray for our corporate worship and Jesus’ Lordship and leading of MVPC. Thank you for praying! MVPC Prayer Ministry.

Visit the Prayer Corner – If you would like someone to personally pray for you after the service, please come to the Prayer Corner sign at the rear of the Sanctuary. This morning’s prayer partner is Rose Chiu.

Chancel Flowers – The flowers on the chancel this morning have been given by Nancy Braden and Family in loving memory of Arlie Braden; by Bev and Don Matthews in memory of their parents; and by Tad and Karen Slocum in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Enjoy Camp Timberwolf! Register now to enjoy beautiful Camp Timberwolf this summer: MVPC Family Camp, July 5th-11th, and Dads’ Adventure Weekend, July 11th-13th. For more information and to register visit our website: mvpctoday.org.

Test Drive – You’re invited to go on a Test Drive with one of MVPC’s local mission partners during July. You will meet staff and learn about the ministry while serving. Come on your own or grab your buddy, family, or small group to choose from a variety of ways to serve. All test drives begin and end at MVPC and carpools will be arranged as possible. Register today for a 1-time, no further commitment required, fun and hands-on event! Pick up a brochure or stop by the table this morning. Contact Bonnie Bjerre: x227; [email protected].
