Supervisory Committee Nominee 3-Year Term Credit Union Experience Mr. Tabari has been a Star One Credit Union member for over 10 years. He became an Associate to the Board and Supervisory Committee in 2010, and became a member of the Supervisory Committee in March 2013. Related Experience Mr. Tabari is a practicing attorney and name partner in a local law firm. He is a graduate of Saratoga High School with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UCLA. He attended law school at Santa Clara University, and also has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Leavy School of Business at Santa Clara University. He has been a licensed member of the Bar since 1988 and his practice focuses on litigation. He is married with three children, and he and his wife have been active in many social and charitable activities throughout Santa Clara County. Candidate’s Statement It has been an honor and a pleasure to serve first as an Associate to the Board and Supervisory Committee, and more recently, as a member of the Supervisory Commit- tee. As a Star One member I appreciated the benefits that came with membership. As I became an Associate volun- teer, and more recently a Supervisory Committee member, I have been able to see the challenges that face credit unions like Star One, and how the extraordinary staff and leadership of Star One have responded to these challenges. I have enjoyed working with the staff and other volunteers in the continual efforts to maintain and improve the services provided to Star One members, and would be honored to continue to serve in this capacity. In her current position, as Hewlett Packard Enterprise Equal Employment and Affirmative Action Program Manager, she is responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local laws relating to non-discriminatory employment practices. Additionally, Ms. Goeas is an experienced internal auditor. Her past responsibilities included providing independent reviews of organization’s risk management, governance and internal control processes. She had earned the designation of CIA (Certified Internal Auditor). Ms. Goeas has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Accounting from San Jose State University. Candidate’s Statement For the past 10 years, it has truly been a privilege to serve on Star One Credit Union’s Supervisory Committee. To have the opportunity to work with a management team and Board dedicated to our members’ best interest and how best to meet their financial service needs has been an extraordinary experience. The 61st Annual Meeting of Star One Credit Union will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the Credit Union administration office, 1306 Bordeaux Drive, Sunnyvale, California. Credit Union officials will report on the 2017 operations and respond to members’ questions. All members are invited to attend.

Board Member Nominee3-Year Term

Credit Union ExperienceMr. Daggett has served as an Associate to the Board andSupervisory Committee and as a regular member on the Supervisory Committee. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2011 and is now serving as the 1st Vice Chair.

Related ExperienceMr. Daggett is currently the controller at Electric Cloud, Inc. Mr. Daggett has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate financial planning and public accounting. He spent several years in public accounting with a Big 4 accounting firm. He also has a proven track record in private industry holding financial positions at both public and private companies including Motorola-Good Technology, NetIQ, CAM Systems, Compass Group and Fujitsu PC. Mr. Daggett’s credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from San Jose State University. He is licensed as a California Certified Public Accountant and is a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.

Candidate’s StatementI’m proud to serve as a volunteer to Star One Credit Union and continue to serve our mission of delivering valuable financial services to its members. We must continue to develop financial strategies and programs that meet the needs of our current and future members. I support the growth of the Credit Union to expand and provide the financial products, systems, and services to meet the needs that are valued by the members. Each of these changes must be based on sound business decision making and an overall fit with the Credit Union. I look forward to assisting Star One Credit Union with continu-ing its track record of successfully serving its members. My background in finance and management will help me contribute to this goal. I would be honored to continue to serve you as a member of the Board of Directors.

Credit Union ExperienceMr. Gaut has been a member of Star One Credit Union since 1982. He was appointed as an Associate to the Board and Supervisory Committee from 2007 through 2010. He served on the Supervisory Committee as Secretary in 2011 and as a Board member since 2012. Mr. Gaut is currently the 2nd Vice Chair, Assistant Treasurer for the Board and Chair of the Board’s Volunteer Development Committee.

Related ExperienceMr. Gaut joined Lockheed Missiles & Space Company (LMSC) as a Scheduler and Budget Analyst in 1982. Prior to joining LMSC, Mr. Gaut served four years in the United States Marine Corps as a Supply/Fiscal Officer. Mr. Gaut has held various management positions at LMSC, as a Supervisor of Expenditure Control, a Manager of Facility Operations Control, and as the company’s Fixed Asset Budget Control Agent. Mr. Gaut was promoted to Senior Manager of Facility Planning in 1995. He served as a Director of Facility Operations & Services from 2001 to 2007 and was trained as a Director of the Bay Area Space Systems Company Emergency Operations Center. Mr. Gaut was the Director of Business Support and Continuity from 2007 to 2010. He was the Senior Manager of Leasing, Business Pursuit, Economic Development and Common Tools and Senior Manager Facility Site Lead before retirement. Mr. Gaut graduated with an MBA from Santa Clara University and has Bachelor of Science Degrees (Magna Cum Laude) in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Utah.

Candidate’s StatementI am excited by the opportunity to continue to serve on the Board of our Credit Union. My objective is to do my part to keep Star One the exceptional financial institution it is today while offering valuable and progressive financial products and services that meet the needs of our members. Star One continues to grow and adapt to the changing financial industry. Our Credit Union has a strong management team that is enhanced by an independent and active Board. I believe I am well prepared to make a positive contribution to the continued strength and well-being of our Credit Union with my experience in facilities, business operations and related functions.

Credit Union ExperienceMs. Lee has been a Star One Credit Union member for over 33 years. She became an Associate to the Board and Supervisory Committee in 2013 and became a member of the Supervisory Committee in 2016.

Related ExperienceMs. Lee is currently the Director of U.S. and Global Retirement at HP Inc. (HP). Her responsibilities include oversight of HP’s global retirement and financial wellness programs and leading the country team responsible for the design, strategy and administration of the U.S. 401(k) and pension plans. She has been with HP for 18 years and has held a number of positions across several functional areas. Prior to her current role, she was Director of Global Equity Administration where she was responsible for administering HP’s worldwide equity programs including HP stock and dividend administration. Before that, she held several positions in HP’s Treasury department, including manager of HP’s Treasury Service Center, where she led cash operations in the U.S. and Mexico and manager of treasury benefits administration overseeing benefit plan trust administration and accounting. Prior to joining HP, Ms. Lee held Employee Benefits manager positions at Transamerica Corporation and Lockheed Martin. Ms. Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance, both from California State University East Bay.

Candidate’s StatementI have been a member of the Credit Union for over 33 years and it has been an honor to serve as an Associate and Supervisory Committee member. I want to be part of a financial institution whose objective is to help people manage their resources effectively so that they can meet their financial goals at every stage in their lifetime. I believe that my long-term background in corporate treasury, finance and SEC equity reporting have prepared me to support the Board’s obligations of helping the Credit Union safeguard the assets of our membership community. I am honored to continue to work with the outstanding leadership and staff of Star One Credit Union and look forward to the opportunity of serving on the Board.

The Credit Union bylaws state when there is only one nominee for each vacant position, the Credit Union may declare those nominated are elected and no ballot is necessary. There are no more nominees than vacancies this year for either the Board of Directors or the Supervisory Committee.
