The prefix syn- comes from a Greek word and means “with” or “together.” The suffix –ize creates
a verb form. If two people synchronize their watches, what are they doing?

Chron, chrono is a Greek root meaning “time.” Adding the adjective suffix –ic makes a word that is often used to describe disease. What do you think
