  • Sunday, October 29 at noon in Adrians Hall. * Note date change *

Join your parish family for an afternoon of food, fun and learning about special ways we can honor our family and friends who have gone before us! This event will take the place of religious formation clas-ses for grades Pre-Kindergarten through Eight. There will be no class that morning at 9:30 am.

All Souls Day envelopes are available in the pews. Please enclose $10.00 for each Mass you wish celebrated for your loved ones. Masses will be offered on weekdays at 7:30 a.m. throughout the coming year and will be noted in the parish bulletin as: For the deceased members of the (Your Name) Family. Please return your envelope in the regu-lar collection on or before November 2nd. Loose cash in the basket on All Souls Day will be applied to Mass intentions for All Souls. We will have Masses at 7:30am and 5:30pm on All Souls Day, November 2nd.

We take the scare out of Halloween! For the month of November, we honor our loved ones who have died by placing their photos on an altarcito (little altar ) by our main altar . We re-member their dignity, even after death. Please bring a photo of your loved one to our parish office the last week of October (include a label on the back with your name on it) so that we can remember them during our November Masses, and especially on November 2nd, All Souls Day, the Day of the Dead. We also pray for them this month, in case they died and maybe werent quite ready to meet Christ face-to-face. Our prayers definitely help their purifica-tion.

Bishop Stephen Berg will preside at the annual White Mass for the Diocese of Pueblo on Wednesday, October 18 at 6:30 pm at the Cathe-dral of the Sacred Heart.

All healthcare personnel at inpatient and outpatient fa-cilities, and their families, are invited to participate and to receive the solemn blessing from the Bishop. White coats and health professional attire are encouraged. A reception will follow.
