Sam and I want to express our most sincere

thanks to our Christ the King Family for the

prayers, love and support given to us during

the past 18 months. The cards, phone calls

and electronic messages were a source of

power that inspired us to shoulder the

burden during the most difficult times and

appreciate the not too difficult times.

Our most recent CT Scan and MRI

revealed no detectable cancer cells. I am

now considered to be in remission.

Whenever I reflect on the past few months,

I weep when I think of how you supported

us.

Words are not adequate to describe what

you mean to us.

CTK Elf will be making

another appearance this year!

It is sure to be a

Special night with the Annual Gospel

Dramatization by the Faith Formation

children during Mass and then a special

visit by J’Elf

and her trusty side-kick Zeldear!

J’Elf’s sleigh will be filled with a

special surprise for all the

kids!


FAITH FORMATION:

Faith Formation

classes will resume

on January 6th at

9:15 a.m.

The final Children's

Christmas Mass

Practice is AFTER

mass on Sunday,

December 23rd. We

need all participants to be in attendance so

everyone is fresh on where to stand and at

what time. There are no faith formation

classes on this day.

Children's Mass pageant participants need

to show up in the Youth Room no later than

5:00 p.m. on December 24th.

Covenant...Marriage

in Christ

St. Anne Church

offers The Covenant to

all parishes. If you are

planning to be married in the Catholic

Church, attendance to one of these classes is

required.

The next session of St. Anne Catholic

Church’s marriage preparation program,

The Covenant…Marriage in Christ, will be

held Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 9 AM

– 6:30 PM in the high school media center.

The program is $50 per couple if you are

not a registered, active member of St. Anne

Church. Register online

Mercy Mondays During Advent

This year on the Mondays of the first

three weeks of December, all of the St.

Anne friars and Fr. Noel from St.

Benedict the Moor will be available in

St. Anne Church from 7 until 8 p.m., no

appointment needed. We will be there to

listen to you and talk; it is our hope that you

will also use this time to go to confession in

preparation for Christmas.

These Mercy Mondays will take the

place of the traditional Deanery Advent

Penance Service!

We want to be available to chat a little, and

if you so wish, hear your confession. There

will also be Exposition of the Blessed

Sacrament and Benediction on Mercy

Mondays. What a perfect way to step out of

all the confusion of the Christmas

preparations and enjoy a few quiet moments

in the presence of the Lord. Hope to see you

there. Spread the word.

Museum, 1775 Legacy Way in Columbus.

The black tie optional event will be hosted

Conv., and will celebrate 150 years of

Catholic education in our city.

Proceeds from the Deimel Legacy Ball
