Overview

My name is Christopher Mallanao

I started school in 1989 in the Philippines

I graduated from high school in 2002 in Hawai’i

I first went to college at University of Hawai’i at Manoa in 2002

When I finish my degree, I hope to become an effective teacher in mathematics

Educational technology is the integration and utilization of technologies of today into the classroom to enhance student learning, and as tools to prepare these students for the future.

Kindergarten technology

The only technology I was aware of in this age werethe radios, old box televisions, and my first game console ever, the Nintendo.

High school technology

I was introduced to tower computers and the first forms of the internet: connected through a phone line, then eventually cable. Overhead projectors were in the classrooms. I also used a VHS camcorder.

A Vivid Technology Learning Experience

After my first computer crashed, I learned how important it was to back up the files contained in it, especially the ones that were important.
