CHORAL Adjudicator: Jodi Penner

Jodi Penner is currently working on her Doctorate in Music with a focus on choral conducting & voice performance at University of Alberta. She has conducted the Coro Internacional de Santa Cruz Bolivia, Coro UPSA in the Bolivian Baroque Festival & also the Coro Filarmonica de Santa Cruz de la Sierra. She is an accomplished soloist as well as voice teacher & active in the Edmonton chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She also has two solo albums, Tree in a Storm & Cielos Azules de Ensueños & given many solo & collaborative recitals. Jodi has sung with Operafestival di Roma, Edmonton Opera Chorus, Opera Roanoke, I Coristi, Richard Eaton singers, the Canadian Chamber Choir & more. She has been the recipient of the Johann Strauss award for advanced study of German Lieder in Baden, Austria. Jodi will be working with Pro Coro Canada in the spring of 2020 as an emerging conductor.
