Parameters — Whom will you date? Purpose — Why are you dating?

What are you looking for?Specific Guidelines for Girls: 1. Does he speak respectfully to and about his parents? 2. Does he pray in the restaurant? 3. Is he careful in his entertainment choices? 4. Does he avoid physical compromises in our relationship? 5. Does he like to talk about the Scriptures? 6. Is there someone he is trying to convert to Christ?

Does she avoid physical compromises in our relationship? 5. Does she like talking about the Scriptures? 6. Is there someone she is trying to convert to Christ?

What if I’m trying to study with him or her?

Two options – Study with him or her. Get out of that relationship.

1. Talk about it every time you are together. 2. Measure their progress. 3. Be the leader. 4. Be ready to pull the plug.

What if there are no Christian prospects?Find some! Christian schools, Camp, PTP, Youth Events Convert someone to Jesus!

1. Be a steward of this time in your life. 2. Listen to outside opinions. 3. Work together. 4. Pray together. 5. Be honest and transparent. 6. Invest in her or her family. 7. Practice selfless and sacrificial love. 8. Flee sexual immorality. 9. Never rely on any person to give what only God provides. 10.Ask God for wisdom, then study His word.
