CHILTON COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

FROM THE DIRECTOR

The 2013 Chamber Awards Banquet was a great success as the Alabama Power Conference Center was filled to capacity. Award winners were Central Alabama Electric Cooperative as Business of the Year and Anne Taddicken

of Chilton Medical Center as Ambassador of the Year.

The theme for this year’s event was “Team Spirit,” as many of the attendees dressed in their favorite school colors. An appearance by Big Al, the University of Alabama mascot, was a big hit with the crowd.

Tommy Glasscock led the costume competition with honors going to the Southern Care team, members of which were all decked out in Crimson Tide attire.

In all, it was a lively event and enjoyed by all.
