In Chile people eat beans, eggs, beef, chicken and corn. Some of the favourite dishes are (meat turnovers with beef, hard-boiled eggs, onions, olives, and raisins), pasta de choclo (a baked meal of beef, chicken, onions, corn, eggs, and spices), cazuela de Ave (chicken soup), ensalada chilena (cold tomato-and-onion salad), and seafood casseroles and stews.

A pudu is a small animal that lives in the forest. It is the world`s smallest deer. It has spiky horns and lives in the southern rain forests. It is only about 13 inches 33 centimeters ) high

Some other animals that live in Chile are the thick coated llamas , alpacas, vicunas, and guanacos. These are all humpless relatives of the camel that are adapted to living in the cold, dry foothills of the Andes. There also hundreds kind of birds such as pink flamingos, black- necked swans, colourful parrots, and jewel-like hummingbirds. There are also penguins, other sea birds and one of the worlds largest birds, the andean condor.
