"My son was so excited to go to camp each morning. He readily put on his cast because all the other kids had one too. He enjoyed all the different camp themes especially Sports week! He made unbelievable progress and was so proud to show me what he could do with Righty! The therapists are wonderful. He can't wait to attend next summer"--

What is LARC?
Our camp-like program was established in 2006 to provide
effective, evidence-based intervention for children with hemiplegia.
Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy(CIMT) is an intensive
treatment approach for children with decreased use of one side of their body . The protocol for Constraint-
Induced Movement Therapy known as ACQUIREc Therapy is utlized. This involves “constraining” the child’s
non-affected arm, using a removeable cast. This creates an
environment for the child to use their affected arm during functional and
therapeutic activties. Weekly fun themes and meeting new friends
with similar issues keep the children motivated to participate and reach

incorporates daily living activities and therapeutic activities that are
challenging but achievable to ensure your child’s success!
