The “4.23 World Book Day Creative Competition” in 2019 was completed and the result was announced. The roving exhibition of winning entries is held between April to August at the Exhibition Gallery of Hong Kong Central Library and 19 public libraries. Winning entries are also displayed in the Hong Kong Public Libraries web page.

Moreover, the theme of “Meet-the-Authors” series this year is “Joy of Reading without Boundaries – Stories from Authors”. Authors from different aspects would share their experiences on reading and writing. 由香港公共圖書館舉辦的2019年「4.23世界閱讀日創作比賽」得獎結果已經公布，得獎作品於4月至8月期間，會在香港中央圖書館展覽館及十九間公共圖書館展出。香港公共圖書館網頁亦會上載相關作品供大家欣賞。
