How to Prevent Cyber Bullying

• If your receive a threatening email, don't erase it, show your parents!

• If you get a text from a cyber bully block that number from your phone.

• Remember that it isn't your fault.

• Don't respond to cyber harassment!

• Write down the email address of you cyber bullies so you can be sure not to open further emails

How to Prevent Cyber Bullying

• Don't give out your number or email address on Facebook or myspace, because it might get into the wrong hands.

• If you know who your cyber bully is tell a teacher or parent who it is.

• Remember to say STOP! If you don't, the person cyber bullying you will just get worse.

• Don't trust even your best friends with passwords to Facebook, email accounts, etc.

Other Tips

• If you are a cyber bully, STOP!!! Don't you realize that even if you think that it's a harmless joke, you could be ruining someone's life?

• If you know if someone's being bullied, or you are being bullies tell your parents, teachers or other trusted adults.

• If bullying has reached an extreme level, you may want to tell authorities who can track down your cyber bully and help you!
