Many groups of children and adults from all over

CHILD AND RIGHTS

• CHILD

Any human being up to the age of 18 is considered a child

• RIGHTSA right is something to which

I am entitled solely by virtue of being a person.  It is that which enables me to live with dignity. Moreover, a right can be enforced before the government and entails an obligation on the part of the government to honor it

What is a Right and Need?

• A Right is something to which I am entitled solely by virtue of being a person.  It is that which enables me to live with dignity. Moreover, a right can be enforced before the government and entails an obligation on the part of the government to honor it

• A Need, on the other hand, is an aspiration which can be quite legitimate, but is not necessarily associated with an obligation on the part of the government to cater to it;

• Satisfaction of a need cannot be enforced

Can you tell which of these are RIGHTs and which are not?
