ABOUT THE PRINCIPALWarren Brand founded CCG after being involved in the coatings industryfor more than 25 years. Starting as a field laborer, he worked his waythrough every aspect of industrial coating, including blasting, spraying,outfitting trucks for coating applications, training and hiring fieldpersonnel, writing OSHA safety and confined space manuals and hiring,training and maintaining a successful sales, marketing and coating staff.

Through his experience at Chicago Tank Lining, Inc., a highly successfulindustrial coatings company founded in 1959, he has worked withhundreds of products, coating companies and application techniques. Hehas worked in every aspect of coating and has personally lined, supervisedor managed thousands of coating applications and projects. He receivedan MBA in Entrepreneurship which has been instrumental in giving himadded focus and insight with each individual project. “Each project is acompletely new undertaking, and must be addressed as such,” observesMr. Brand. “I believe each project has certain truths associated with it.Once we’ve discerned what those truths are, then the options becomevery few, very quickly.”

Mr. Brand received his undergraduate degree in journalism and wrote for a daily newspaper in California for several years. As an award winningnewspaper reporter, he honed his craft and skills as a writer andresearcher. In addition, Mr. Brand holds the highest certifications from thecoatings industry's top professional organizations, SSPC-PCS#2011-816-212and NACE-Level 3 #139826, and also has his Black Belt in ParaCombativesJu-jutsu and is an instructor with the Northwestern University Ju-jutsu Club.
