Scope of change (FOR INFORMATION ONLY)
In order to upgrade ATSU with ATC FANS A+ application for datalink recording function, the modification consists in installing by uploading new software into the ATSU (Mod 200858). In addition to the Datalink Recording capability, upgraded applications provide: • Automatic CPDLC messages generation for in trail procedure operations • Operational Enhancements for CPDLC operations, In order to comply with this installation, this modification needs prior acceptance of: • ATSU interface for FANS A+ and recording function (Mod 200858 - CL46.21.000-05). The ATC HMI utilities disk PN change from LA2T0K00000K0F1 (Mod 55131) or LA2T0K0000J0F1 (Mod 51899) to LA2T0K00004C0F1. The ATC FANS A+ application disk change from PN LA2T0K20000H0F1 (Mod 55131) or LA2T0K20000F0F1 (Mod 51899) to LA2T0K20001D0F1 Interchangeability : Two-way interchangeable with conditions: - The new P/N LA2T0K20001D0F1 can replace the old P/N if the new ATSU interface software capable of FANS A+ Datalink recorder (Mod 200858) is installed. - The old P/N LA2T0K20000H0F1 (Mod 55131) or LA2T0K20000F0F1 (Mod 51899) can replace the new P/N if previous ATSU interface software capable of FANS A+ (Mod 50076) is installed.
