Scope of change (FOR INFORMATION ONLY)

In order to fix components obsolescences issues on the Honeywell MKV EGPWS, the modification consists in replacing the existing standard of EGPWS P/N 965-1676-003 (Mod 56653) by the MKV-A EGPWS P/N 69000942-151.In addition, this MKV-A EGPWS introduce following change:

Introduction of the capabality to provide runways information required for ROPS (Runway Overrun Prevention System) through associated Mod 202456.

Implementation of dataloading via USB instead of PCMCIA card.

Interchangeability:Two-way interchangeable with conditions: - When the pre-MOD MKV PN 965-1676-003 is removed, it may be replaced: With itself, or with the post-MOD MKV-A PN 69000942-151:

If RAAS function is activated on aircraft (Mod 55849), Mod 203944 "Install RAAS database with USB support for EGPWS Honeywell MKV-A" has to be installed,

If RAAS function is not activated on A/C, there is no specific condition.- When the post-MOD MKV-A PN 69000942-151 is removed, it may be replaced: with itself or with the pre-MOD MKV P/N 965-1676-003:

If RAAS function is activated on A/C (Mod 55849), Mod 200231 "Install new RCD to adapt RAAS audio levels at -18DB" has to be installed,

If RAAS function is not activated on A/C, there is no specific condition.
