Scope of change (FOR INFORMATION ONLY)
A PAX SYS switch will be installed to enable the immediate shutdown of the power supply to the complete passenger related systems like In Flight Entertainment (IFE) and In–Seat Power Supply System (ISPSS). The modification consits in installation of: – two additional contactors in the fwd cabin ceiling area and a circuit breaker in circuit breaker panel 2000VU to control the sheddable busbars 210XP and 212PP by the PAX SYS switch located in the Video Control Center (VCC). – modified wiring between circuit breaker panel 120VU and terminal block 2754VT to integrate the contactors; – additional wiring between the contactors, 2000VU and VCC interface in the fwd cabin ceiling area; – an angular backshell on camera connector 14RA–A instead of the STD straight backshell to avoid interference with contactors. Note: The integration of the PAX SYS switch into the VCC has to be done by the VCC manufacturer. The installation of the modified VCC and the wiring up to the VCC interface connector will be covered by the customer’s IFE installation Mod.
