SUSPENSIONThe Captiva offers independent 4-wheel suspension with disc brakes and heat ventilators. Front suspension features MacPherson Struts with Stabilizer Bar. Rear Suspension comes with 4-point Multi-link with a Self Leveling System. As part of Self Balancing Integration Technology, the unique Self Leveling System automatically lifts the rear suspension higher when carrying heavy loads. This ensures perfect front-rear body balance at all times.

The Captiva comes with a reinforced Front and Rear Crumple Zone offering maximum protection throughout the entire vehicle body. Side Door Impact beams further enhance safety. For greater confidence, the Captiva is also equipped with a range of passive and active safety features like ABS, TCS, Anti-theft Protection, Driver and Passenger Airbags and Monocoque Chassis Architecture. For more everyday safety, the Captiva features Dual Pretensioner Seatbelts with load limiters that loosen slack to minimize risk of seatbelt-related injury. In frontal collisions, dual frontal airbags are deployed while the steering wheel collapses into its column, offering optimum protection for both driver and front passenger.
