@MS &PhD in Chemistry

A minimum of 16 and 18 years of education in Chemistry,

Biochemistry, Materials Science/engineering, Chemical Engineering

or closely related disciplines for MS and PhD programs respectively.

All applicants must have maintained CGPA of at least 2.4 (on a scale

of 4) or at least 60 %marks in Intermediate/A-level examination and

all university-level degrees.

Performance in LUMS Graduate Admission Test (LGAT) or Graduate

Record Examination (GRE) General Test (ETS, USA)

Performance in SBASSE Subject Testor GRE Subject Test (ETS, USA)

Interview performance

No feefor application processing and test registration.

The PhD program is fully funded and an additional support of up

to Rs. 30,000 per month will also be available.

The MS program is subsidized. There is 20 % tuition fee waiver for

all the admitted MS students. An additional financial support tocover up to 30 % of the tuition fee for the deserving candidates is

also available in the form of interest free loans in addition to the

merit scholarships.

The Chemistry department at LUMS aspires to establish itself as an
